Is Marc Marquez going to come back?

this was the most avoidable disaster ever.

he never ever should have been cleared to ride jerez 2 FP, its insane they allowed it. the FIM needs to totally revamp how the medical staff works

Truth.

But he was still a beast when he came out for FP.

Marc has pretty much fucked himself, with lots of help from dad and Puig. Had he actually given his arm time to heal immediately after the crash, rather than repeatedly injuring it, he'd have competed at the end of the year. It's a sad lesson. From what I read, and know, he's going to have months of recovery before that join is weight bearing again, and he's basically lost pounds of muscle mass in that arm over the last several months. What a shame.

He won't be at the tip of his spear, but he'll be at the tip of the competition's spear. :laughing

He goes Tip-to-Tip with his Brother as they Mouth-to-Mouth kiss each other.

At least when Miguel Olivera kisses a Sibling it's a Step-Sibling. :rofl

I wish I had the skills to put your avatar on a broken record gif. :laughing

A new BARF emoji?

No doubt GPone will have an extensive "See, I told you so" post-op interview with Costa.

I was wrong. They just reprinted their article from a month ago. I guess Costa couldn't be bothered- either that or he did the surgery and is too busy :laughing.

I saw that. Man... hurts his recovery time even more.

Has to be 6 months at least I would think. Just a guess. I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express.

Probably some combination of Dr. Mir hack job with the ti plate and too many screws and not letting the injury heal properly. At this point I would say there are better than even odds Marc never races again and announces his official retirement sometime midseason 2021. Karma's a bitch.

And Vale remains the 9 time world champion GOAT.

Infection in the bone, third surgery, bone not healing, bone graft, and the nerve concerns. Yikes.

Hoping for a full recovery. Best scenario would be that he comes back strong but the rest of the grid has advanced in the meantime, so he is less dominant but still a podium contender ever weekend.

Wow. The poor bastard. He must feel like hammered shit right now. I don't see him racing for many months, if ever. And while I should say " I told you so," it's honestly a shitty way for a guy with his skills to end his career.

Beats death, which the way he rides is how it very well may have ended if he had come along 20 years ago or more. I really hope he makes it back. 2020 turned out to be a pretty good year. I don't think it would return to utter dominance by him like before, which means the racing would be fucking riveting.

I heard the HRC/Repsol team will have a new partner for 2021...

Boston Dynamics.

Expect a greatly improved 93 back on the track. Just don't look directly into his laser eyeballs.

And Vale remains the 9 time world champion GOAT.

Every day he sticks around, people forget more what he used to be. To thousands, he’s just the guy who finished 15th in the championship with 66 total points, and 8 points BEHIND Alex Márquez.

TBH... bone infections aren't just season threatening but can be life threatening.

Not sure we're going to see him again... and even if so, can he be competitive? Ain't looking good right now.

Hope he does. For him life wise and for me...Because it would be cool to see him race with the fast, maturing 20 somethings.

Rolls with it...
It took Alex Smith 2 very difficult years to make it back to football after the infections from his broken leg....

Not a huge fan of MM, Puig, Repsol, or even Honda... where was I going with this... oh yeah, but I hope he makes it back to racing again.

R3DS!X

Whatever that means
I mean it's very likely that he will come back but might take another year or two and if he does return i don't think he will be the same.
