Is Marc Marquez going to come back?

Yes, he'll be back.

He will not be the same rider due to the arm and will have issues the remainder of his career.

He just announced today that he is done for the year, "in order to further recover." Which does not sound like he's all healed and ready to go out and destroy the field.

If he never races again he will remain one of the finest riders ever in MotoGP.

I'm kinda liking the new MotoGP, you never know who is going to win, podium, or place in the top ten, except maybe Mir.

2020 has been the most awesome year I can remember honestly.

I am sure I some of the 80's and 90's stuff was amazing, but following it did not mean you got to watch the races live.

The best thing about 2020 for me is MotoGP and Supercross being a close second.

Shit goes down hill fast from there. :laughing

Now I am hearing of another operation and that the break is not healing properly.

The original Spanish article is over three weeks old. But GPone is rehashing Costa's supposed bitterness with their/his lack of consultation and they're surmising pseudoarthrosis. That could well be true, but GPone's obvious slant leaves a lot to be desired. Who knows what's up, but it does fit your narrative. :thumbup

That is crazy. You know, when he laid down on the asphalt after winning th championship to have his brother pop his arm back in the socket, I had a feeling that that was the beginning of the end for Marquez.

Puig didn't say much during his normal FP2 interview today, but from what I decoded the bone itself is taking its time healing and they're going to take all the time they need to be 100%.

Whatever that means
I guess for the moment it's a QUESTION MARC....

Anyone? Anyone? I'll be here all week....

Interesting conundrum for MotoGP. Best racing in awhile without a dominant figure on track. Superstars bring hoopla and media plays, but they also make the racing not so exciting...

best outcome: Marc heals up completely and comes back, but all the machines are competitive and we continue getting different race winners for a no asterisk 2021 that isn't just parade laps.
