What is keeping the locals off the MA grid??

2014 was our first meeting with AMA on this in Ohio. There were 7 other clubs reps there, IIRC correctly. We've been talking/ working on the sanctioning issue for that long. I don't want to speak as to the details as we're still talking with the AMA. One thing I will say: I don't favor a Parent/ Child arrangement. I favor a Parent/ Parent arrangement. AS the oldest club dedicated to Motorcycle Road Racing, the AFM has a unique and storied history. That's not something we (board) take lightly.

Maybe "pushing" wasn't the right word. It was about the same time as when WERA became ama sanctioned and required ama membership. Who's right/wrong? I don't know :confused.

Probably, but have no idea if true. Don’t think Andrew raced any WERA nor Kaleb. Fong didn’t do WERA either, iirc. None the less, the point was that I find it disingenuous to mandate racing in a slower club for points when the top spots at Laguna were held and supported by AFM. I saw no WERA airfence out there for you guys....I saw our fence.

The Moto world works so much better as equals working with one another when it comes to organizations.

MA and AMA are ad odds in their goals. MA needs riders on grid (badly) and AMA needs members.

Google says otherwise.

Also, theres more clubs than WERA thats AMA sanctioned. Additionally, some of them have had their MA license for a few years or have already been in the Pro ranks. Im talking about 2018 when i applied.

I see what you are saying though.
