I did not know Ralph was out... :(

He was the AFM announcer when I was racing. He enjoyed the give aways I brought him thanks to KSJO. 10 CD's pretty much every race.

That set up a friendship of sorts that has continued for a couple decades. Just face recognition a "hello and how is life" sort of thing when we ran into each other at events he was broadcasting.

It was cool seeing a local dude become successful in something he dug.

Lol..... I was thinking the same thing. Forkner has some real tough competition this year for the title and can't afford mistakes like that. Arm chair quarterbacking, no way he was going to make that pass. Been a tough couple of seasons for Mitch.

I considered it a dirty pass put that him on the ground where he deserved to be. He was too far behind. Glad he fell :laughing

I did not realize Roczin was docked 4 points. Harsh if what he said is true and I would believe him.

Never been a fan of Forkner. I thought he turned the corner this year dumping his dyed hair, rapper chain, hip hop look after his monster girl fiance left him. He even wears his hat like a normal person now. :laughing :twofinger (nothing against him.... sarcasm)

Anderson, Davalos, and Friese also docked for the same red flag incident. Tough pill for sure and not questioning KRs point of view. Maybe a better flagging system, dunno. Might add another level of complexity to figure out who could see the flag or not. Lucky for Roczen, its early in the season and points are all very tight.

True it is early but losing the points lead hurts.

For sure more than Roczen felt the pain of the medical flag.

Not sure any course control changes would affect that situation. Tough luck.

Doing my Rckymtn Fantasy early as I'm riding Saturday. Usually able to pretty much predict who the top five are going to be, just not the order. I'm not sure I can pick who the top ten are. :x


Just read Sexton out this wknd, shoulder. I thought he was going to be ok.

It is a stacked field. Can't ever remember so many guys capable of a top 3 since the 80's.

In the free Rckymtn league you pick 1-5 and 7th as a wild card. My picks, which is really no different than a drunk pig wandering around the woods....


1 Roczen
2 Barcia
3 Ferrandis
4 Tomac
5 Musquin

7th Cianciarulo

I think Webb, Osborne, Anderson, Brayton, could also podium or at least be top 5. Wilson, Plessinger, Malcolm, could make 5th maybe... heck Tickle, Friese, Davalos, and even Benny Bloss could also contend for top 10 with a start. Impossible to pick.

Bummed Sexton is out for this wknd and hope he is back soon. Not only a lot of guys, but the pace is crazy, and so many on that pace.

Kawasaki press release has Forkner saying Hampshire fell on him and took them both out. :rofl

It is a bummer but that Webb dude rode hard to be there.

Bam Bam was fast. Could have potentially podiumed if he did not fall.

Biggest take away from tonight. Tomac’s gear was ugly. :laughing
