Mostly heard Limbaugh on Radio while driving. First heard him on a Sacramento station he sounded and acted just like my Brother in law. They both exuding narcissistic grandiose self importance.
He was the Yin to the Leftists Yang. He owes his success to leftists. Not everyone are bleeding heart liberals. He was an open window in an outhouse of media leftism.

Rush RIP

The guy who rented the office next to me listened to Rush every day. So glad when he moved out on.

He's eating his cancerous lungs in hell right now.

So glad he's dead as I won't have to listen my neighbor blasting his bullshit around her backyard pool.

I particularly enjoyed the bit where he called out Michael J. Fox and said he was exaggerating having fucking Parkinson's, mocking him and pretending to uncontrollably move around like Fox was. Talk about a belly laugh amirite?!

Fuck Rush Limbaugh.

And he would play that timeless classic, “Barack the Magic Negro”. Music to my ears. Brings me back to my childhood every time.

Was he worse on the radio or something? I didn't really follow him, but I caught his TV show a few times in the 90's late at night when i was stoned and it really wasn't that far out. Seemed like he was selling pretty basic GOP standard issue disgust for poor people pamphlets, nothing really remarkable about it.

Dogmatic politics always annoy me, so I wasn't a big fan, but he didn't strike me as particularly innovative at the time.
He presented his propaganda as 'Facts'. He established the practice of using a single example to prove and condemn an entire portion of the population was garbage.

If you're looking for the root cause of the huge divide in this nation, he was the main person who really started and widened that crack on a wholesale basis. He always had his targets of bigotry and they were often anybody who wasn't white and gays. Yes, he was racists as hell, among other things. He fed upon people's basic instinct, magnifying it and directing the hatred and bigotry.

Wow did any of you haters even listen to the guy or did you go by what others told you of him? Rush was pretty funny if you got the joke, not really my cup of tea but obviously he riled the right people. Cursing a dead person says nothing of them and everything of you.

Yeah, I listened to him often. The guy who rented the office next to mine listened to him every day so I got lots of bleed over. Rush was a POS.

Mr. Bad Example
I've heard him many times and know a bunch of Dittoheads. I don't know if he reallh believed his schtick, but they certainly did.

He did a lot of damage and I'm glad he's gone.

I've been told by some that I shouldn't celebrate anyone's death. Rush's hateful bigotry actively damaged us all. Forgive my cheers of elation.

If you can find one exception to the "It's never ok to cheer someone's death" it makes it bullshit. It's ok to take pleasure in the death of despots for example that killed millions of people for example. I'm not saying being a bigoted racist millionaire radio personality who profits off the hatred of others is the same as being a genocidal maniac, but it clearly proves the bullshit of the statement.

To me he was kinda like Howard Stern used to be when Howard was on commercial radio - a shock jock. He and Howard commanded huge audiences and even people who hated them listened in every day just to see what they’d say next. And they’d continue to listen for quite a while once they tuned in. This is music to the ears of advertisers and to stations in the hunt for ratings.

Do you see the difference between someone who is shocking by challenging society's views on sex and such and those literally pushing bigoted hatred against entire racial groups?

Yeah, the whole, "Don't speak ill of the dead" thing can go too far. On one hand it doesn't really do much good to dance on the guy's grave but if the topic of his legacy comes up, I don't see an obligation to tell lies to sugar coat it.

For someone who supposedly hated multi-gender restrooms so much, why is his gravesite going to be one?

Checkmate, liberals.

I think that, sad as it may sound, advertisers don’t care about the program content when millions of people are listening in
