Wow did any of you haters even listen to the guy or did you go by what others told you of him? Rush was pretty funny if you got the joke, not really my cup of tea but obviously he riled the right people. Cursing a dead person says nothing of them and everything of you.
He used to have this hilarious bit where he would laugh at those who died from AIDs. People are too sensitive today, that is funny stuff.

I hope it is obvious I was kidding. None of the shit he said was funny. The world got a little better today.
It wasn't obvious. And I'll apologize for coming after you on that post.
You might wanna start with knock knock jokes if humor was your angle.
I agree with the Rabbi.
Rabbi Michael Adam Latz:
I do not celebrate anyone's death.
But there are those for whom I cannot weep.
I don't wish death on anyone. But I have read some obituaries with great satisfaction.
One should always say something good about the dead...
Rush is dead. Good.

Did the other posters' similar jokes also not resonate? Like the anti-black and Michael j Fox ones?
Sarcasm doesn't land via text.
Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of the views being parodied.
The original statement, by Nathan Poe, read:
Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is utterly impossible to parody a Creationist in such a way that someone won't mistake for the genuine article.
Rush Limbaugh stoked and sold Hate and Bigotry.
The amount of harm he did to this country may never be matched.
The world is a better place without him.
That was your post, above. ^
There was nothing funny about it in any context of humor.
FWIW, I understood the sarcasm. About the only person I can think of who would have said that in seriousness died today.
