MotoGrandPrix Offseason/Testing Thread 2021

Zoinks!!!!
1. I liked you better as Nick. Why change a good thing?

Like Rossi’s time at the sharp end of the grid, all good things must come to an end.

Also, a little bit of anonymity in this political climate never hurt anyone.

Article says 3.87 miles long. Is there a max length for FIM?

Hmmmm. Looks way longer than that from the aerial photo.

I read somewhere that Alex Marquez will be with LCR in 2021, so who will take his seat ? I am missing some news here I think.

Pol Espargaro will take over that Repsol HRC bike as the new teammate to Marc Marquez.

Marques is having his hospital stay extended for a bone infection they found during surgery.. it may be a while before we see 93 on the grid.

Eh, I wouldn't actually call it a demotion. Rossi gets the latest bike with full factory support. And he probably has more freedom to make his own decisions on set up instead of being forced in any particular direction. I think he'll actually do better at Petronas. I also think 2021 will be his last year racing. 2022 he'll own the Sponserama Ducati team.

I think Rossi will have huge fun next year. More so because he is not under the pressure of being expected to win races.

Ah, at least the huge VR46 on the tail will make it easy to spot Luca out on the track. And let's face it, the Duc is not the most photogenic bike on the grid.

:laughing

A good sign that he is home.

That I would summize means the infection is under control and he can focus on healing the bones.

So Gresini is confirmed on the grid for 5yrs without Aprilia. Could it be Gresini Suzuki?
