Swing and a miss, pepe. I don't use the service at all. And please, show me where I said they were abusive? Pretty sure I've just been "complaining" regarding their complete about-face in regards to user content.
They're not just tweaking the TOS, they're telling everyone that ever read and agreed to their terms to fuck off.

You mean; "the golden rule" ? :laughing

don't tease raul.

steve: it's a grahm cracker delivery service. like WebVan but more specialized

AWESOME !! Do they use Audi's to deliver ?

KHAAAAAN!
If you upload your pic to Instagram and some company wanted to use it, they pay Instagram a fee. Same goes for Facebook.

Would you rather Instagram close down? This is the only possible business model for mobile/social. If you don't like that reality, you can always stop using the service, which you never paid a dime for. But to complain about it as abusive, is really just silly and yes, self-entitled.

What do you think of the probability that the world could've been a better place without Instagram?

If you set your account to private then they can't sell your pictures.

No, another revision in the ToS change explicitly states that it includes content marked private and they aren't responsible for disclosure of 'private' content.

:rofl

What path are you going to pick as CEO?

None of the above. I just made $250M for 18 months of work and I'm 27 years old. I'm on a private island with my harem ripping lines of blow and cialis between helicopter rides and mouthfuls of sushi.

How about not use it? If you want to share a photo of your dick with your buttbuddies, just text it or email it to 'em.

You're really going out on a semantic (and rhetorical) limb here in believing that these are legitimate counterpoints. But that's your right, its the internet after-all :laughing

Anyway, it looks like Instagram is recanting the language and clarifying their business model (hint: it involves shoving advertising into your photo feed.) The pig picture posted above is funny, and very apropos.

yea well, I was talking about the CEO that now has to manage this shit pile of a business, Zuckerberg. But yea, it's a pretty sweet thing when your small non-business threatens a large, barely-viable business. :teeth

Ha, I wish. The question was, if you were the CEO of Instagram...

If you're the CEO of BRD, you're 33 and 3.5 years in you're living off of ramen, tap water, and the goodwill of friends but yes, still bringing the bikes to market (12 months late, but better than even we imagined it would be).
