Right now I'm wearing a $13 Avengers watch that does a little techno light show.

I seriously can't believe I forgot to buy a Mickey Mouse watch the last time I was at Disneyland. Since it's you know, like the poster child for cheap watches or whatever. I think it'd be funny to have onein any collection.

pssst. I actually have that one.. yeah it's kinda fun

3 APs and 10 Panerais among some others. :teeth. But they're all reps from China. I could never afford all that in gens. And even if I could, I wouldn't be spending that kinda coin on watches.

When I was a kid I used to have a hand wind Mickey Mouse watch. I have no idea what ever happened to that watch. I wish I still had it.

And you know what...they're not as cheap as one would expect. I saw quite a few in the case that were over a hundred bucks!

Same here... next time I go home, I'm going to have to tear my room apart looking for it... :laughing

I do wear a watch often, but have never been drawn to expensive ones. I got a Suunto Core prior to my ski mountaineering trip across the Sierra a couple of years ago for its altimeter/barometer and compass functions. These were all backup functionality to other instruments I brought, but it was easier to check the watch. Once back from the trip, it became the watch I wear daily.

I own a few, but seldom wear them.

#1 reason being my smartphone and my computer desktop both have clocks on 'em.
#2 reason is that if I'm wearing leathers, it gets in the way and I don't feel the need to add any more steps to my Superman routine than necessary.

My problem is, all the watches I WANT to wear (thick-ass divers and aviators) won't fit under a dress shirt unless the cuffs are too baggy.

Nice pic, Beau!
Yeah, basic black is appreciated.

p.s. I don't have many problems with the watch "under the leathers", it is possible that there aren't any because I have a textile jacket. But you're right, the watch is tight on the wrist sometimes now I remember..
