Do you wear a watch?

Did you ever sell that Breitling? .. I think it was quartz

Chronomat Evo automatic. Got some interest, but didn't really want to let it go for what was offered. Probably should have, it seems that the gold/diamond/blingy look is fallen out of fashion even more now.

I've gotten so used to the relatively light(er) weight of the others, so now the Chronomat just feels a bit too bulky so it never comes out of the safe.

I'm sure it would sell on ebay, but I'm a little leery of selling anything that expensive on there.

I have 3 Tissot's as they sponsor MotoGP.

Made sense to me. Just started wearing a watch again after 30 years.
Mostly for fashion.

I am wearing this Movado today. Present from the wife.
Bling bling and thin. Love that while wearing dress shirts.

Not sure what this suckers costs. That is good. :p

I've tried it on in person, I didn't think it was that fat. I, however, did not know it was a manual wind..

Oh OK maybe that version is only automatic. There may be a silver face Omega SpeedMaster chrono that is actually manual wind.
I haven't tried neither and I will not. I did try an Aqua Terra but I will not go there.

..automatic. ..

Oh OK. Well I guess there was this story on eBay/BARF where you send the watch and then they respond 'never received'. I guess you know what to watch (oops!) out for

Rolls with it...
Rolex Submariner stainless steel going on 22 years. It doesn't sit in a drawer, it has dings and scratches from being worn everywhere as they are meant to be.

Same for me! Except I've only had it 17 years.

Explorer II with a Sea Dweller band for me, the Submariner was a tad bulky and the GMT too colorful, so this one is just right. Got it n 98...

(And a Casio like GAJ posted. The older I get, the simpler the face has to be, I'd have trouble with that Invicta.)

Yes, and too many to name.

Not really expensive ones. But I dig watches and feel naked without one.

You don't wear one of these do you, (Luftwaffe watch). :laughing

The current fad for ever larger watches is beyond me; they look ridiculous to my eyes.

I wear a watch frequently, having few fancy watches made by little old Swiss men and two made by their equivalent in Japan. I think my favorite is a Zenith El Primero Chronomaster.

Beau: blue, nice! :thumbup

GAJ: Just love the image and the dial and the brown leather. I know I can't wear that size (many other people..neither?).

Furthermore, here is my pic in the same color idea from earlier today. It's Swiss at least and not even bought shady-from-the-internet! :thumbup

<-- blu shirt... red shirt.. :

When I choose to wear a watch, I wear this. My dad took this:

And gave me his watch:

He wanted a less flashy watch to use on a daily basis.

I love watches. I wear high quality replicas of higher end watches. It allows me to have a nice collection and not get bored with just one or two.

i use watches for function specifically. IE date and time at a glance, maybe a countdown timer and/or interval timer.

Ironman timex has been some of my favorite watches. they are very comfortable, have nice features, and a giant easy to read display. as its a digital watch, theres no need to fool with daylight savings time and the dates every month. only bad thing is, they arent durable and parts arent replaceable.

i just bought a g-shock a while ago. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00309HQPK/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i like it because i tend to beat my watches up over the course of the day and this one can more or less take a bullet and still be fine. its ugly and bulky and doent have interval timer but its atomic, digital, and has the time zone thing too, so its been very nice. especially during traveling.

I'd like a citizen ecodrive. specifically this one: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005BS2NZ6...UTF8&colid=2GYPMY1IDLJSZ&coliid=IU7VUSMY3IFLW

same thing: its got a "no need to fiddle with" thing because its got perpetual calendar. its atomic so i dont need to readjust. solar so im not touching batteries. tells me date and time and looks sleek.

Of course, recently i havent been wearing watches because my glove/gauntlets and jacket combo make it very uncomfortable.

I love you! That rules....guys who USE their tools everyday despite them being expensive!

Omega Planet Ocean is my daily driver...got it from a good friend and love it, despite having other good brands that just kinda sit...
