Do You Cry?

If you ever need to have a seriously cathartic release of a cry, my suggestion is to ingest 4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and then watch the movie "Steven Spielberg's A.I."

I'll neeeeever do it again...

"Broken Halo's" By Chris Stapelton was particularly crushing even without pharmaceuticals.

:laughing I never had a particularly strong emotional reaction to hallucinogenic narcotics, although mainly I used LSD when I was a kid.

What about yanking a nosehair?

I'll allow it, but only with a good shudder also.

I was expecting a robot movie, not a torture the young boy heartlessly movie. It harshed my vibe, man.

Sure. I think different people respond in different ways. For me, whenever I ate hallucinogenic drugs, I just about always ended up in the same particular graveyard before the moon was out of the sky.

I know that most men never want to admit that they cry, and perhaps they don't. When I think of "Macho" Men, I imagine that they would never cry.

I, on the other hand, am at the other extreme- I cry at the drop of a hat. I cannot watch movies with animals being hurt/endangered, because I will be a sobbing mess. I cried (like a baby) while watching the Will Smith movie (I cannot recall the name- I Am Legend?) where he and his dog are alone in a world with these flesh eating monsters. When his dog died, I cried NON-STOP for the rest of the movie.

I heard the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Isreal Kamakaiwo`ole this morning on my way to work and I became a sobbing mess.

I am not a depressed person, but I am emotional.

What about you?
If you love doggies and don't mind crying, watch this old movie. Have a lot of hankies around.

Read the comments below where it says:

"I first saw this on The Documentary Channel and pretty much cried through the whole thing"

And I know why. I watched it also. I am crying now just thinking about it. It goes way beyond sad.

So this is a warning, if you dare to watch it.

DonTom-

I love doggies, but I hate torturing myself. I will make an exception and watch this with my Wife. I may have to walk away, if it gets too rough.
Thanks

Not much crying at all that I can recall after the age of 10 or so, (1966 when was let out of "prison" at a UK boarding school and came to the magic land of the US).

That changed somewhat but in a weird way.

I loved my parents but didn't really cry at their passing, just a little tearing up.

But putting down cats over the years has me weeping uncontrollably during the whole process and after.

Tear up a bit with some movies.

It's the damned cats that really do it rather than people and I find that quite odd.

What about when you get your brazilian wax? You know, like a manly man. I feel one tear is allowed. Especially if it takes more than one tear...
I haven't cried from physical pain since my single digits, even through the tooth extraction with an abscess that neutralized all of the Novocaine as she broke apart the 4 root molar, and through 4 kidney stones episodes, one that lasted 6 hours.

I doubt you will even be able to walk away when you start watching, regardless of its extreme sadness. Notice all its five star ratings.

“He's getting old. I don't count the years. I don't multiply by seven. They bred dogs for everything else, even diving for fish, why didn't they breed them to live longer, to live as long as a man?”

Lefty, Don, maybe don't read the fantastic book The Dog Stars by Peter Heller.

Or maybe do?

I like pain. So hence, manzilians give me the chuckles.

I may also allow you to cry when someone dry-fires your never-fired Colt Python.

Animal cruelty gets to me. I want to cry the. I want to punch someone in the throat.

What really gets my waterworks going is live music in a small venue. It’s so personal. When someone really nails it, fogetaboutit. I know how hard it is to be be good at it and I love music. Someone busting it out with all their heart gives me the feels
