I would use sweet mix - my friend puts it out for the deer and they will hang out nearby - 50 meters or less, easy to make a shot. Maybe Cosby the sweet mix and have your way with with them however you want.

I just seriously had a flashback-PTSD from when I took my hunter's safety course years ago.

Those people asked the stupidest questions. I just remember looking around the room and being incredulous that these fucking people have guns. Really made me question the whole 2nd Amendment thing.

Went for a ride through Mendo forest and beyond yesterday. Saw lots of deer, baby deer, male deer, female deer, not sure if it was a deer or something else deer...

None would let me get close enough to them to slap.

Most ran when I stopped the bike. Not like those city deer that just stare at me and dare me to hunt them.

For proper deer hunting within city limits, I suggest an old Chevrolet truck. Took three of them one winter a few years back, one was even edible.
