2020 Corvette.

Fuck off
That rear end, tho. Looks too much like the Camaro, IMO. But, I also, will hold true judgement for when I get to see one, IRL.

Overall, I dig

It looks like they just plugged a 90's NSX and Diablo into an AI and got this.

Doesn't look bad, just doesn't look very original. Price point is nice. Cheaper than a full size crew cab 4x4.

Front and side profile are amazing. Rear is a mess.

Spec out an all white with a carbon flash stripe, carbon mirrors, z51 and black rims. looks amazing (from side and front only)

I like it. I haven't been excited about any Corvette since the C5 release (remember that hype??!!)

Really hoping they don’t get carried away with option costs. For example, the engine appearance option with the carbon panels with Audi R8 like theater lighting. On the NSX, the carbon engine cover is almost a $6k option which is absurd.

For me, Z51 is a must. Or no chance of that sub 3 second 0-60. But it’s worth it for the coolers and e-diff. 2LT group and magnetic ride are also a must. Bet that is already $15k. Wants would be the front end lift, high wing (which makes you take lower side skirts too), and maybe some Grand Sport like stripes and hash marks, along with the fancy 3LT trim would add probably another $15k at least.

C5 had a huge hype train. But don’t forget that they let the C4 run waaaay longer than it should have. Like a 13 year run there. Pretty much twice as long as the typical product cycle in the car business today.

I think the rear looks much better with no wing and body color accents. The wings make it look really busy.

I like it in the light blue or yellow, black rims, body color accents.

Yeah, the C4 had two refresh cycles. The C5 was an entirely new car and a big leap forward. C6 was mostly a modernized C5.

Thing is, the C3 hung around for freakin' ever, too. 1968 to 1982. Side note... there was no 1983 Vette. :D

You will be one of the few who likes that highlighter yellow color. It’s definitely more neon looking than the current Corvette Racing Yellow.

And I’m calling it now. Less than 1% take rate for Zeus Brown.

Yep, I remember well. To this day the C5 still looks the best to me out of all the generations. All my buddys got C5s and I bought an M3 :laughing

I have a friend who bought his C5 new in 99 and just has FBO with 15k miles on it. Wonder if it's worth anything now.

LOL, I had a 2nd Gen Camaro in that color.

Rolls with it...
My doctor, who’s in his 80s now, has bought every new generation of corvette in bright yellow going back the 70s...

Maybe. I think that bright colors: yellows, oranges, and light blues especially really need to be seen in natural light conditions moreso than other colors. Really, I would like the orange but with a bit more reddish tint to the orange. Usually I like bright colors, particularly orange, on these cars, but at least with the lighting they show It just looks just a slight bit off in that color.

Agreed that the Brown will not be that popular. It would work with a more classic, swoopy styling, but not on the angular, aggressive look.

Zeus Bronze is a phenomenal color, it’s amazing on the V’s. Same with Sandstone.

Mid engine.......'nuff said.
Fortunately I'm not qualified to own a Corvette......I already have a penis.

You are confused. That was the Hummer you were not qualified to own. :rofl

Too powerful

No such thing.:x

Still a bargain for what you are buying. Over here in Stockton, we have a lot of Cadillac Escalades roaming around. Every time I see one I think, they could have had a Corvette and spent less. :wow

its great for a mid engine 500hp car for 60k. didnt wow me. it looks like a 2007 f430. the pics in this thread are heavily photo shopped and filtered, it doesnt look as good as those. too me it looks like lazy design work. i do however like the cockpit style interior, i wonder how difficult it is to see those buttons on the side in the middle of the car. the rear end looks like a crushed camaro, and again it looks almost exactly like the f430 :dunno
