Ya'll have a TV in your garage?

KHAAAAAN!
OP, find a picture of a pegboard with tools on it and make that the TV screen saver. :laughing

We have one TV and it isn't in the garage. I do have a Sonos zone and bookshelf speakers out there and it gets a lot of use.

That...would be funny. LOL

Never considered having a computer down there but makes sense when looking at schematics.

OP your garage is looking good! :thumbup

Yes, having a computer is much handier than say a tablet or a smart phone.

Thanks!

So....finished for now. A bit more organizing to do here and there. Still some paint left to do in the corner where the tankless water heater is. By the time we got to that spot, we were done. :laughing

One coat of Killz PVA tinted to the color we wanted. And one coat of Glidden indoor paint in flat pretty much did the trick.

Built a shelf for my moto gear where I park my hipster ride.

And put up two white peg boards so my boys can hang their Nerf guns.

I'll wait until the summer to get the floor dealt with.

Looks damn good, man. :thumbup :applause

But I think this is maybe gonna not happen. Another month or two of use/storage and it's gonna be too much headache to pull everything out for a couple or three days.

Edit: I'm thinking epoxy coating; if you're going with the square tile setup then it's probably doable fairly easily.

Very true about the pain of moving things out to epoxy the floor. I may not do that.

Tiles of some sort may be in the cards though.

Depending on your useage I've heard good things about the racedeck style tiles.

This.. is exactly why I don't have epoxy in mine yet. :laughing

Also my garage floor is inclined significantly more than it should be, to the point that you can visibly see things aren't level if they're set "sideways" in the garage. Workbench, cabinet, squat rack, etc.

I've actually considered trying to level it out some but I don't have the first clue how.

My storage cabinets are on a 'sloping' shelf to compensate for the same thing. I just made the supports a hair longer on the downhill side.

Never heard of those. I'll check them out.

I'd have to figure out cost per sq ft too.

That sort of thing.

Yeah. It just seems like way too much of a slope. My toolbox will almost roll on its own without the locks set on the wheels.

If you can visually tell it's not level, that seems to much. but that's beyond my expertise.

I hate you.

Great job.

We had a very large jute rug in the TV room that the cats yarked on once too often so moved it into the garage rather than the dump and it actually works well.

Whatever that means
I got two, one for the Sim racing rig that also swivels around for other use and another for my stationary bike that is getting really neglected.

We went with the epoxy floor. It was hard work and I have reservations about the durability. It did lighten up the space though.

It required us to move everything in 3 phases to cover the entire floor.

My garage floor is so cracked and displaced it might be best to jackhammer it out and re-pour. I'm not enthusiastic about undertaking that, so it continues to be cracked...
