:cry I'm selling my DRZ. I've only ridden 1500 miles since I got it in '06 so it's time to give someone else a chance to enjoy all the upgrades. Most of the mods listed in this thread have been done already so now's your chance to ride instead of wrench. See all the details here.

Thanks Rob for putting your time and energy into improving the DRZ-SM.
Your parts improved mine immensely.
Good luck with the sale.

DRZ riders.

Aftermarket 4 gallon tanks worth it? Id really like to do longer rides on the DRZ... But for 200 dollars?! Hurts me deep!

^ That $100 price is a great deal. Jump on it.

Agreed. Love my ugly Clarke tank. More freedom to explore and I don't have to break off from a great road and go 20 miles out of my way to find a gas station.

Another vote for the aftermarket tank. Mine was translucent so you could see how much gas was left.

Its nice to not have to fill up every 90 miles.

Question on DRZ SM : "The Garage" on TT is down. Is the loctite fix on stator just as simple as unscrewing bolts and putting back the stator in?

Went down to Evolution today, got the Clarke installed and fine tuned the suspension for me. Even though only minor changes where made, it changed the whole ride.

If you have not done so yet, get your butt down there and set up your drz properly!

Hey guys, got a little issue.
The jetting on the DRZ isnt "right" bogs pretty hard in 5th, the "off throttle" jet isnt right either. It was up in Reno (jetted for elevation) which is the problem I believe.

Anyone willing to take a look at my bike for me? I'd truly appreciate it.

Stock carb? What kit are you using? Needle/pilot/main ? How many turns out on the fuel screw?

I'd really like a magical elf to fix the broken mountain bikes and the DRZ's slightly f'ed up carbonation issue.

But I'd take a service manual... :twofinger.
Im sure I can find one on-line, just been to preoccupied.

Its not that bad, just bogs down when cruising at lower rpm's while trying to get back on the gas. Probably all three jets need to be changed. It was build up in the Reno area, jetted for elevation.

I recommend using gnomes since it's easier for them to get their hands into the small area around the carb. PM me your email if you want the manual.

Don't be lazy! pull the carb and check.
