i think a retaliatory chainsaw purchase is in order. also, every time you see a tree in your yard you can tell it "you're why we can't have nice things!"

Ho.lee.fuck. Makes me not want to do anything cosmetic to my 50. It would be irreplaceable, just like your poor car.

Oh Shit Dave.

Was this the only thing damaged on your place? Back yard garage ok?

Well, fuck those trees, make something out of the log that took out the car, teach it a lesson.

Back garage is okay.

It dented the hell out of the new Honda on the roof, hood, front fender and two doors.

Took down the power lines and blocked the road for two days.

When the lines came down it started a small fire that got put out.

No road access unless we cut through the neighbor's yard to the main road-all that would fit through was a bicycle so....we bike trailered the kids to school. It was a balmy 38 on the last day. I didn't listen to a single complaint :laughing

No power or internet for a few days, so bicycle take out, heat it on the grill.

The branches punctured the driveway

Cut the damned thing up and dragged it away with the tractor, then pushed the car into the garage with it.

Normalcy is almost returned and I've started working on my Jeep. That thing is getting painted with a roller.

All that work...damn. Gutted for you. The work you did was so obviously done out of a sense of doing it right. That effort can't be taken away. You did good. Kill all the trees. Kill them now. Kill. Kill. Kill.

I appreciate all the thoughts.

It sucks but....on a positive note, I wasn't in it. I was just a short bit before but the kids wanted dinner so I went in to cook.

If they ate at their normal time y'all might be discussing how to help my wife.

I can build another, if she wants one.

Ran out of paint.

The old girl has been sitting for...too long-4-6 years or so. But I find I need a pickup again so two new batteries were bought (it's a 24 volts system) and some fresh gas.

Maybe....?

Do you hear that? We're talking 230 cubic inches of raw power positively churning out a mind-boggling 90 horsepower.

At least it might have fifty years ago.

It's floored. Go around.

Something to think about if it is a beater jeep some guys around here have been rhino lining their vehicles to protect from scratches and stuff. I think it actually looks kind of nice it gives the vehicle a matte finish.
