An accountant no less.

WTF do people think would happen if they went to a random apartment and shot an accountant sitting on his own couch? Murder conviction.

If you or I did it there would be no question. She didn't accidentally pull the trigger. She was negligent. She deliberately pulled the trigger. She walked into the room ready to use deadly force. Ya fucked up lady. Don't care what your job title is you killed an completely innocent man on purpose. Time to take your punishment. I hope its harsh.

I live in a multi-floor complex and have twice accidentally pushed the 3rd floor on the elevator leading me to attempt to open the condo one floor below.

IT HAPPENS!!

I have also on two occasions heard someone try to open my door. I assume it is the same issue, but would have ended badly for whomever opened the door.

So I believe completely that she could have mistaken the man for a trespasser, and quite possibly we have sent someone to jail who doesn't deserve to be there.

So....you'd do something bad to someone that might be doing the same thing you've done? I hope you latch your door tightly.

Agreed, the idealistic situation of that guy made no sense.

"Oh people go into the wrong apartments all the time, so we should let this gal slide..".
"But of course I will shoot them". (no mention of how would he do that, when the other person is in uniform, pointing a gun already. :rolleyes)

A detail I hadn't heard earlier:

Her testimony conflicted with prosecution witnesses, including neighbors who said they did not hear verbal commands and a medical examiner, who testified that the bullet had a downward trajectory, indicating that Mr. Jean was either getting up from a seated position or was “in a cowering position” when he was shot.

In addition to the other issues with her, I think the jury fundamentally didn't believe her account and feel that she shot him knowing he was not a threat. If that was the case, it's not an accident whether she though she was in her own apartment or not.

And I still say that if she actually thought she was in her own place once inside, she's way too dumb to be given a gun.

Because she was found guilty of it under Texas law.

You are abso-fucking-loutly right I'm not a liar about not being a racist piece of shit.

And OJ was not guilty, along with MJ, the Stanford not rapist, Zimmerman, and Casey Anthony.

But hey if ya say so, just saying though, lots of bigots say the same thing about themselves.

What the fuck are you talking about?

The jury already decided it was murder, but in regard to personal beliefs, I think it mostly comes down to whether or not one believes it was a mistake.

Exactly. Some how it is believed that she intended on heading up there to kill him because she was horny.

I'm wondering if a suit can be filed against Dallas PD for damages in this. She was in uniform and murdered him with her service weapon, right?

Yeah I'm not real hip to the case. All I know is her claim that she went to the wrong apartment and shot what she thought was an intruder. With what little I know, manslaughter seems the most accurate to me. I haven't heard much about any type of relationship between them, except that in the police state thread someone says there's some history. If there's some sort of relationship, that's a big red flag, but again I don't know those details.

True. We pull the trigger with intent to destroy or incapacitate whatever the firearm is pointed at. Negilent, yes. Every trigger pull should ALWAYS be deliberate. Otherwise the whole "guns kill people" line would absolutely be true lol. If you walk into a room with a firearm ready to go, you should ALWAYS be ready to use deadly force. Guns aren't toys, they should be used seriously even during fun shoots. You NEVER shoot to maim, you shoot with the known outcome of possibly taking a life.

I read an implication of him calling you a bigot. But that's my interpretation of that mess.

Things can be easily lost interpretation. That's the chaos and beauty of communication without other cues to ago along with words on a screen. Kinda like "joking" about race, killing, or other colorful and uncolorful phrases and sarcasm.

Where have you read that, or are you making shit up?

They were referencing her sexting a working partner before coming home as married woman. It had to do with debunking her claim saying she was tired, that if she was tired, how could she possibly want to meet up for a booty call later on. I'll find it. She was soooo horny that she couldn't of been tired and was distracted because she wanted that D.

If you could share the drugs, that'd be great.

I can't for the life of me figure out what you're on about in this thread but you sound completely incoherent.

If simply a text or comment in private or in joking could send us to jail.......we'd all have a prison record.

Funny, I don't have any racist txts in my history......

I'm sure you're not a liar either.

Don't be a pussy and vaguely accuse him of shit; call him a racist if you think he's a racist.
