Still damp from overnight rains. Weather forecast for the rest of the weekend is supposed to be better.

Whatever that means
I'm totally out of the SBK loop. What sort of crazy-ass format are they using this year? Three races? Reversed starting order?
Three races. 2 full races and 1 sprint race in between that serves as qualifying for next race.

no reversed starting order but don't give them ideas.

I think it's still on Be InSports, which I don't get get (DirecTV). I may need to get it via Sling. :(

WSBK and MotoGP is not listed on Bein Sports for 2020 season. Only NBCSN. Unless you have a streaming service with NBCSN, you're better off watching it on your local station, if available. Not sure exactly what coverage will be shown. Otherwise, fork out $$$$ for a video pass, for each. Looks like I will be cancelling my Sling acct...... boooooooooo!

Sadly, WSBK will be shown on Monday, via NBCSN.

Just saw that. Yeah, I may need to look at alternative options as they are only airing a few of the races in each Org. on NBCSN.

Five different brands in the top five after qualifying. Sykes becomes first rider in the history of WSBK to earn 50 pole positions. Good ride from Haslam to put the brand new CBR in fifth. Bautista crashed with ten minutes to go though is apparently unhurt. Gerloff is 17th.

1. Sykes BMW
2. Redding Ducati
3. Rea Kawasaki
4. Toprak Yamaha
5. Haslam Honda

WSS qualifying up next. WSBK race 1 at 8:00pm Pacific time.

Not as fast as I look.
Please someone, explain to me why the heck Sykes faded like a cheap madras shirt. The bike looked smooth. Is he still eating up tires with a heavy right hand?

I can't find anything on what happened to Sykes. Probably his tires, but it is a BMW. I wouldn't be surprised if his handgrip warmers stopped working which led to a shutdown of the injector system, as is tradition with all new BMW motorcycles.

I hate thats toprak dips out at the champagne spraying. I know it's his religion, but he treats alcohol like it's phlegm from a sickly man who just came from Wuhan. Good racing from raz tho.

Redding will be the reason I stay interested in wsbk this year. In Parc ferme, he said "I was really impressed with myself" haha gotta love that self back patting. I hope he wins race 2.

Hondas once again are unimpressive. I just don't see either of them being a factor this season. Shame.

Gerloff rocked it on the earlier stages but he just fell like a stone in the river. I hope he can build on this because he's literally thee only American on the world class level and that bums me out.
