slower would be backwards
I think that Chaz Davies is going to be the guy to watch this year.

Anybody have the scoop on TV channel and race times?

On DirecTV, it was on channel 620 (BeIN Sports). $10 for the sports pack add-on, or included in the Ultimate package.

I don't know if anybody has tried this yet...

In my area (San Jose, CA) on COMCAST

go to Ch 429 (BEIN)

and/or then do a Search for MOTOCROSS

"WHAT??" you say?

When you click on SOME of the results that come up on a "MOTOCROSS" search, you will see that it Actually Says WORLD SUPERBIKE RACING .... etc etc

You're welcome :teeth

THANKS! I didn't even know Comcast had BEIN. You can also do a search on "SUPERBIKE".

Didn't see MM's GF all day. Imagine the big pouty face after the team's 2nd rider upstaged her BF twice in one day.

Sykes piloted the first Japanese bike to a podium finish this season. Obviously Honda and Yamaha do not care.

Honda cares, they're coming back with their v4 next year

Doesn't mean much now, where my dirty frog is leading the ship!

Awe yeah Sartre in the house y'all!

I thought he would do well when I heard he was getting a factory ape. He's not disappointing.

His team mate on the other hand is like last year and the year before when you consider how much he is talked up.

Kev: I have Chaz and Ginters for fantasy. ;)

Well done there. Chaz surprised me a lot this weekend. A littel luck and some great riding from him really set him up well.

Looking forward tot eh next round. They're catching Guinters.

I enjoyed both races. I was watching the EuroSport version, which is slightly biased toward British riders. The announcers were pretty happy to have Chaz win both races.

One question: does anyone know why Laverty didn't collect one point for 15th place in the first race?

The announcers couldn't explain it. He was still on the track, even though he had pulled into the pits once with problems.

It looks like both WSBK and MotoGP should be having some good races this year.

yeap...

if memory serves me correct
- pull into the pit, can go back out to collect points
- pull into the garage itself, classified as a non-score

I believe he entered the garage...

Yep, BEIN is rockin. DirecTV is pretty sweet overall. That was just a bonus!

What I thought was interesting, was Guintolli's lack of pace in Race1. Had the other two guys not DNF'd, he would have been 4th or 5th. Laverty didn't seem to have the same grip issues, so they must have way different settings? He did seem better in Race 2, but not THAT much. Seemed like he just tried harder.. :laughing

Good shit CHAZ! :thumbup

Fantastic for Chaz, hope he keeps it going. :party

Poor Sam Lowes in the Supersports ...... just gutted for him. He wasn't going to win it, but to retire half way around the final lap after such a solid performance and come away with nothing ........ :mad

BeIn is doing a great job with the covereage, except for blowing the Quali covereage! Oh well, technical stuff happens, Hell, just look at all the technical problems we had in the races. Race 1 was strange having Laverty and Sykes both fall out. My heart kinda sank when Eugene went down in race 2, I was hoping to see a good dogfight between he and Chaz. The BMWs showed very well. Assen is going to be really interesting. We are going to find out who can handle now, and not so much who has the most HP.

I was sad to see Camier have that huge High-side. I think the Suzukis are coming. As it was, rookie Jules had a great weekend, something he can definitely build on.
