Amazed at the diversity of the bikes in the top 10. :applause

Thanks for the tip -Jim :cool

Looks to be stacking up for a good race and indeed it is a great venue.

You mean the paningale goes as fast as the GP13? Sounds about right.

The ART bike is basically a GP version of the RSV4..

nah, i think he meant relative performance, ie not at the front. u cant compare laptimes at this track anyway, both series run a diff configuration.

this is a HP track with its hills and the long back straight. hell, i bet if WSBK ran the GP config, the Panigale would be closer. Checa is actually 4tenths faster in QP1 than he was last year. hopefully he can make just as much improvement as he finished 9sec off the leader in both races last year.

Aragon is such a badass track!!

Most of it is. That start is kind of stupid though. Gas it for about 4 seconds and then a 90 degree left. Kind of a cluster fuck. Should have made the front straight longer, or at least move the starting grid back further.

Oh yeah. They don;t run the bus stop for the WSBK race. It's a 1 km straight. Maybe longer actually. I'm not surprised at the BMW's neccessarily but Davies is ripping comapred to what I expected. None the less looking forward to it.

Looking forward to watching.

Here's how I see the race going....

At the start, I see Sykes leading the pack (then fading in typical fashion) with the Aprillia's and BMW's closely behind. I'm pretty sure Checa will be right there with the group and hope to see the two Honda's (Rea and or Haslam) contending with the pack as well. We'll have to see. In the end, it will be Aprilia's within at least top 2, and a BMW finishing podium. None the less, as always, the race(s) are going to be exciting to watch! :ride

<edited to add Haslam in the mix>

as was evident from mid 2012 season on the sykes train didn't fade any longer hence 1/2pt from the title so expect him up front a tone.

Smoked 4th by a second! Too bad the kawi can't hang for race distance.

My boys Davis and Ginters will be at the front.

Fabrizio down pretty far. Weird.

the use of qualifying tires in superpoe always kinda throws off what Q means for the race.

I still see marco towards the sharp end of the stick, and I think sykes will fade because of tire use at this HP track.

guintoli FTW

Anybody have the scoop on TV channel and race times?

I don't know if anybody has tried this yet...

In my area (San Jose, CA) on COMCAST

go to Ch 429 (BEIN)

and/or then do a Search for MOTOCROSS

"WHAT??" you say?

When you click on SOME of the results that come up on a "MOTOCROSS" search, you will see that it Actually Says WORLD SUPERBIKE RACING .... etc etc

You're welcome :teeth
