Seems like a strange, though otherwise normal and clear session to me, but it's not the usual suspects up top. Melandri barely did any laps, while the Alstare Ducati riders both crashed during the session.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they will start with some kind of introduction of themselvs into the series, do some history and a retrospective from last season, followed by final practice/warmups, then the races? I have no clue, but I am definitely curious!

The coverage is all on Saturday. I didn't see anything for today. The coverage on the DirecTV guide says it starts at 4:30pm Saturday and runs through 9:30pm. I have no clue what will be covered.
