Who is working from home or not working due to the pandemic?

working at my office cause I need to meet clients in person. Plus I work for the County and I am assuming that we won't get shut down even for 1 day.

I work for myself.

The national crisis lives strong in my world.
Challenges ahead. :(

All of our Bay Area offices are WFH since Wed. unless it's business critical to be at the office, no defined end point. It's amazing how quickly I've gotten used to waking up an hour later :~)

who knows what will happen. All of our community providers/partners are waiting for different departments in the County to make decisions.

If I'm healthy I will work. There will be a lot of people in need of services and we need to support one another, check in with neighbors help the needy.

Untitled work in progress
Sometimes I work from home. My setup is better in the office. Today I went up to the north bay to talk to someone and then came home and finished the day at home. My son's school is cancelled for about 4 weeks as of Monday so I'll be working from home a lot more. Depending on what I am doing I am more productive in the office or at home. But some of my work is done in the field so to speak so it's going to make the next few weeks a little tricky.

My wife can work from home occasionally depending on what's going on with her job. But she isn't encouraged to do so. She normally comes home around 5pm and then does additional work from home at the end of the night Not sure how much her employer knows or appreciates that she does that. She puts in a ton of hours but she is salary and paid pretty well for her field.

all non-lab, non-facilities personnel highly encouraged to stay home. As a senior lab rat, I usually work half in lab/desk. But anticipating a full shutdown, I'm heading to the lab as much as I can before I'm stuck at home.

I am working in the office until further notice. My spouse works for OUSD so she will be home until April 6th, though she may go in for a couple hours here and there.

I get to be at work every day, nothing will ever impact my job to the point of not working. I wish I could work from home that sounds fun.

Same for me. We may have some of my crew stay home on a rotating schedule, but it’s not because of the virus. Between the virus situation and tax season, we’ve had a drastic reduction in customers at my shop the past few weeks. This Monday coming up, I have a whopping 3 appointments. We typically have 20-30.

Our default is to work in the office, with WFH whenever, as long as it's not being abused. The default is now WFH until further notice.
I'm loving it. I feel it's usually a waste of time to commute 20 miles to sit by myself all day and do what I can do at home.
The only downside is less time riding :ride

I'm another person who is on the front lines. Putting in 48, maybe 72 hours as we speak.

SF is slow and the freak out hoarders seem to be the only ones out. Store shelves continue to be decimated of toilet paper. It's a good thing my employer provides it, but it's too bad it's like sandpaper.

I'm also another person who is expected to come to work (no matter what, really) unless I'm quarantined.

I just ordered a new chair tonight. My shop stool wasn’t cutting after two weeks. I’m in the garage for the duration I guess.
