Whatever that means
I actually like No.7. I just don't like gentle man jack for some reason. and JD single barrel, barrel proof is awesome!

I have zero issues with Jack Daniels. The Gentleman Jack is fine.

Well, the honey jack is mixed with the liqueur so its less than pure whisky and might raise eyebrows on a thread where people are tawkin about $150 bottles. I got to taste the Gentleman and Barrel Select too in the sampler. I liked 'em both..

I'm generally conservative about such things, surprise surprise. So I finally did taste the honey stuff, and once had the Fireball. When I went to BevMo the other day for other stuff, I noticed there are now quite a few flavored whiskys (shit like peanut butter, coconut, apple). Not yet as bad as flavored vodka,, which is out of control.

I just feel like I should be the one mixing the cocktails not a pre-made one. That's why I want to make some honey liqueur, which is quite easy. Its basically equal honey and water and neutral vodka or something like that. I'm just waitilng for some empty bottles to put it in. I already have simple syrup, spiced simple syrup, there is a honey simple syrup as well I want to make (without the vodka) the liqueur. I want to get some bulk 12 or 16 oz bottles to make this assemblage. I don't really like those ceramic wire stopper bottles but that's all I can find online.

Speaking of apple, I really have been drinking Lairds' AppleJack a lot. I read the other day that it's all the rage, so I happened to sync with trend for a split-second. It's pretty nice stuff and cheaper than whisky.
