Not as fast as I look.
It's spelled "whisky". You have just been banned from the Scottish Highland distilleries until you repent your evil British ways.

Spelling "whisky" properly is actually a big deal with the Scots. Which why I brought it up. Like knowing when to drink Bushmills or Jamesons in Ireland. Or other Irish neighborhoods, for that matter. :port

wiki:
The spelling whiskey is common in Ireland and the United States, while whisky is used in all other whisky producing countries.

Oh who cares how it's spelled? Whisky just looks stupid. It's not like they are trying to spell bier wrong.

Whatever that means
People who get pedantic about the spelling of whiskey vs whisky should probably have a drink.

Untitled work in progress
I like whiskey/whisky but didn't think much of there Japanese drams I have had. More of a collector now than a drinker. Many unopened bottles in my house that I'm not sure I will ever get around to opening. Wife doesn't drink and my son is 5 so it's a bit early for him yet. Drinking by myself is a little weird so I don't do it too often. Even then, I still just drink a little at a time. I had a 1 liter bottle of Talisker 10 year that I picked up in Germany in 2006 for nearly 8 years.

No, mate, you always drink Jameson's in Ireland and you don't wear your SF Giants gear there, because it is the wrong color.
