What have you made lately?

Made a wood bench for my outdoor gym, just about to put a rubber top on it and was too late. Wife turned it into a pumpkin stand.

Finally beginning proper fabrication of a project I've been working on with a buddy of mine for several weeks now. Really satisfying to finally get it out of CAD and onto the workbench. Throwing all the tools at it: traditional fabrication, cnc, laser cutting, 3d printing, some custom electronics. It's gonna be cool.

Here are some whiskey glasses I finished yesterday, and a pint glass that’s almost done, just needs the final polish on the lip

Trying...

Once I thought I'd get into skeet shooting, then they banned all my clay birds, then they banned lead shot, so now I figure I will convert all of my #7-1/2 bird to #3 buck. I'll make the other side #000 or something interesting.

I will succeed...

Been a bit... BTW ctwo, I like where you're going there :)

So here's my latest, a custom kitchen island for the BIL. For this one I made from Russian birch ply with maple and cherry top and cherry trim and drawer pulls. The “drawers” are on soft close slides. The tall drawer is a pullout recycle bin! The hidden opening on the side is for 2 drinking water cubes.

Very nice stuff! ^^

Been playing with some different style pint glasses. This is clear glass colored by vaporizing .999 silver and 24k gold with a torch, and catching the vapor on the glass. Same process as “color changing” pipes, but you don’t have to smoke out of it for a month to see the color change. Just fill it with a dark liquid. Stout would be perfect but anything darker than clear will play with light and the metal “fume”.

Don't even want to know where the endoscope has been........

Ha! :rofl

I picked it up a few years back when one of my cats got himself lost in the basement for a day or two and it sounded like he was stuck in the walls somewhere. It's generally useful for inspections around the house where I'm unable to fit my head - pipes, vents, etc.

I started to shove it up my nose once but then I realized I was not prepared for the horrors I was about to see.
