I have vegans in the family and dabbled in it for a few of years myself. For me and family members it had noting to do with morality of animal slaughter. I couldn't care less what anyone else eats.
A couple of vegans likely as bad ass as anyone on the barf.

Ouch. Our niece is 15 and hasn’t had her period. Ballerina. Eats non meat food mostly. Not enough calories. Sad.
Plant protein is easy on the kidneys. Animal protein isn’t meant to be eaten as often as it is. Love meat myself. Need to cut back. Fuck the protestors but happily support the 1A right.

It's not uncommon for a girl to delay her period by being very physically active, it happens to ballerina's and female athletes, but if they get injured for several months and aren't active their puberty can come on really strong with more hip and breast growth than they would have normally have.
I had a friend who was a ballerina who was 15 before she got her period and that when she got injured. She ended up having breast reduction surgery as her breasts over-compensated from being suppressed, along with the later period she was much taller than both parents, she grew to 5'9" when her mom was 5'0" and her dad was 5'2".
