FLCL?
Passed the sex change episode. Yeah getting a bit more in to it, but man it's such a blatant rip off Voyager. Seriously how is Star Trek creators didn't sue them? :laughing

The big bio ship test failed at Bechdel test so badly. :laughing

One of the executive producers of The Orville is Brannon Braga, whose other producer credits include TNG, Voyager, and Enterprise. he also co-wrote the feature films Star Trek Generations and Star Trek First Contact.

Oh, well that makes sense now.

I really like it even if it's a rip off of Star Trek. Because unlike Star Trek I know I'll laugh.

I can't even imagine watching the new Star Trek.

Its Dethklok!
The last episode was directed by Jonathon Frakes aka #1 TNG. The Charlize Theron episode was meh. For an advanced civilization they make a starship load of mistakes. But that's the show.

I don't know why they're surprised at the sheer size of the generation ship, they have the ability to turn energy into matter...they could just turn a lot of energy into a lot of matter and make a big-ass ship.

I think the show is pretty funny, especially the one where they go to a planet where the public rates your behaviour on MyFace.

And yet, this is not science fiction:
Starting in May, Chinese citizens who rank low on the country’s burgeoning “social credit” system will be in danger of being banned from buying plane or train tickets for up to a year, according to statements recently released by the country’s National Development and Reform Commission.

With the social credit system, the Chinese government rates citizens based on things like criminal behavior and financial misdeeds, but also on what they buy, say, and do
