Well, the wife got HULU for a month FREEEEEEEEE! from Amazon, so she could watch The Handmaidens Tale and Top of the Lake........and The Orville is on Hulu so I watched it...........it was OK. Some good jokes, some cheesy situations, and of course the enemy can't hit shit with their shoulder fired weapons, but the crew can take them down like ducks with their hand held pistols..............:wtf

The original series was campy and had lots of silly humor in it. This feels somewhat like a return to that formula.

Considering they have a fairly high budget, the Orville is blowing it as a scifi or a comedy.
