The Boys - season 2

You know the character is named Stormfront for a reason, right?

I was watching it with my gf and she goes “omg I love Stormfront!” (After episode 1). I was like why does that ring a bell...<googles stormfront> “yeeeeaaaaaaaaah I wouldn’t go telling people you love Stormfront or let any of your coworkers hear you say that. There’s no fucking way that’s a coincidence in this day and age...”

Episode 3: “aaaaaaaaaand there it is.”

:laughing

Yep, she's a gender swapped literal Nazi from the comics. I feel these days he takes anything remotely anti-Asian personally.

Dammit! Looks like I need to start up my Amazon Prime membership again. But, I’ll wait until they upload the whole season so I can binge it in one weekend and cancel my Prime membership again.

Does he understand that the Super Heroes are the Bad Guys on this show and the only confirmed good guy Hero is Asian? :laughing

LOL, I didn't even read teh comics, but when I heard they were adding a new character named Stormfront I was all, "Oh eww."

Well, I guess Season II needed someone worse than Homelander. :laughing

I just keep wondering if she is going to be the root for a redemption arc for him. He is such a fucking psycho, I would be amazed to see how that would play out.

The luster of being a do-goody has been scrubbed off her. You can see some of her values eroding in the way she manipulates A-Train. Albeit turnabout.

Not as hot as Karen Fukuhara. :teeth

Completely useless in the movie but I thought she was smokin' in Suicide Squad

Well, let's be honest, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn was a HUGE hotness distraction in Suicide Squad, but fo sure, I have been in love with Karen Fukuhara ever since that picture.

LOL, I would love to see her get more English speaking roles.

I must disagree with you, Harley Quinn is entertaining, but (to me), not attractive at all. (I like my Womenz with some Meat on their bones). At least Karen has some curves and has the 'exotic, I'm going to kill you" vibe goin' on!!!! :thumbup

Steee-riiike!
You are crazy.

haha YES!

I seriously think that Antony Starr's Homelander may be one of the greatest villain portrayals of all time. He is up there with James Earl's Jone's Vader, Anthony Hopkins Hannibal Lecter, and Heath Ledger's Joker.

If dude isn't up for awards yet, he should be.

ehh...starting to lose you. He's definitely got a creep vibe about him, and it does feel like he is unstoppable. But great villain?

Laz ALnso (M.M.), Jessie Usher (A-Train), Chance Crawford (The Deep), and Tomer Kapon (Frenchie) all give fantastic supporting performances and even the wildly underrated Karen Fukuhara (The Female) gives an amazingly compelling performance despite her character being mute.

Tons of excellent acting in this series with support from good writing and strong cinematography. The gore is pretty minor, I don't even know why you would focus on that.

dude :wtf you went off "the Deep" end and I can no longer trust your opinions. I guess if you think playing up stereotypes and dull, monotone dialogue with forced emotion is excellent, then have at it.

Like I said, I'll watch it and am fine with mindless entertainment, but cmon man.
