OMG!!! This show is fantastic. I love the newest member of the 7, Stormfront. She is just as twisted as Homelander, if not more.

I know that a lot of geeks are po'd about them only giving weekly episodes, but I sort of enjoy that. I would be depressed (afterwards) if I binged 10 episodes in 1 day.

I'm so sick of Huey. He'a outlived his usefulness. I don't want to give anything away, but he needs to throw away his phone.

I love that Homelander Jr is now 'aware'.

I'll shut up now.

KHAAAAAN!
Yeah, it's fantastic.

Love the news caption from Episode 1 of this season. LOL
Homelander: "Comes in waves"

I can see why they changed Stormfront on the show. In the comic, Stormfront is a unrepentant Nazi fascist, but retained some of his powers.

hasn't been an original amazon prime show i've been impressed with yet unfortunately

i'll still give it an episode or two

has anyone watched "raised by wolves" yet on HBO? worthy of it's own thread really.

I find the disgust-factor gratuitous and unnecessary. As if it's trying to make up for the acting...anyways, I'll watch it cuz what else is there?

i was hoping the powers wouldn't transfer over. it'd make the roots of their powers more fragile. i assume they're going to harp on the nature/nurture mom vs dad now which i find kinda boring.

Yeah, but it's mindless entertainment.

GoT had gratuitous nudity for the first, what, 5 season. But, at least the acting was aces.:thumbup

Loved Season 1. Not feeling it for Season 2. I find the story telling disjointed and confusing. Bowling4Bikes said it perfectly, "the disgust-factor gratuitous and unnecessary." And Lefty, "I'm so sick of Huey. He'a outlived his usefulness." Yup. Why didn't they melt or explode his head?:loser

Back to Shameless and a world of chronic addiction, failure and disfunction. :laughing

My boss liked S1 but wants to boycott S2 because of what Stormfront yells at Asians when she's killing them...haven't gotten there yet.

not Stan
S1 was good partially because we (the audience) didnt have a clue about most everything in the show. With S2, it seems like we know more than all the characters and it sucks. They already used up one big reveal (Homelander's kid) but didnt build any suspense for anything else. I hope theres some twist or conspiracy hinted at soon, but im not holding my breath. S2 may just be interesting-but-mindless TV like a lot of other mediocre shows.

You are crazy. I seriously think that Antony Starr's Homelander may be one of the greatest villain portrayals of all time. He is up there with James Earl's Jone's Vader, Anthony Hopkins Hannibal Lecter, and Heath Ledger's Joker.

If dude isn't up for awards yet, he should be.

Laz ALnso (M.M.), Jessie Usher (A-Train), Chance Crawford (The Deep), and Tomer Kapon (Frenchie) all give fantastic supporting performances and even the wildly underrated Karen Fukuhara (The Female) gives an amazingly compelling performance despite her character being mute.

Tons of excellent acting in this series with support from good writing and strong cinematography. The gore is pretty minor, I don't even know why you would focus on that.

You know the character is named Stormfront for a reason, right?
