As for one DA or Another making a difference, it really doesn't. And if all the really good crime victims went to Bend Oregon, or Bellingham, WA. It wouldn't take too long for all the junkies to follow them. It's the law of Market Economics.
I recently got an earful of whingeing from a friend who just moved to Santa Fe, to "get away from the fuckin' gross homeless cocksuckers" (his words, not mine) and now he's Infuriated that his Toyota FJ got swiped, and recovered in the high desert, totally stripped, down to the window gaskets.

He now "hates" Santa Fe, just like he hated SF, and Fort Collins, Provo, Jackson, and even Bozeman.

Is our guy still in jail?

Thought of him when reading about Palladino's attack and death recently. At least one of his attackers, Tyjone Flournoy has been involved in the Bay Area's catch and release program. While the SF Gate article doesn't mention it, simple google search shows he has.

Hopefully our Moto Guy is still in jail.

he was still in jail when I checked this afternoon. his next court date is 02/03.

it’s kind of strange, every time I checked over the past month, he always had a court date the next morning ... :dunno

godspeed Mr Palladino ... always thought of myself as being on his side. :rose
