Damn. James Bond has met his end.

He had a good run, I was sad to hear about his deteriorating condition, glad that bullshit is over for him.

Maybe I'm just numb at this point, but this one doesn't cut very deep. He realized some wonderful characters, but he also used his fame to champion some very bad ideas for humankind.

He lived a long, comfortable and well celebrated life. There's no tragedy here, we all deserve as much. Condolences to his family and everyone else who loved him.

Being old is a pretty stupid excuse for being wrong. Interviewer called him out on a previous quote, and he doubled down on it.

That's called crass, not class.

I'm glad that time and overwhelming public disdain convinced him to make a public statement that physically abusing women is bad.

Sir Sean Connery Has Passed Away

My dad is a big fan of James Bond movies and I grew up watching all his movies. Because of him I started learning English repeating his quotes at a young age. I’m sad to see so many talented people leave this world again and again this year. I’ll be watching his movies with my dad this weekend in tribute to this amazing actor. What’s your favorite Sean Connery movie?

:rip I enjoyed his movies and found the Bond series a welcome distraction from Elvis.
I say keep this as a RIP only thread.
