Ask me about my B-1-D
Zardoz is dead RIP Sean Connery

Great actor, I especially enjoyed him on Jeopardy, and as Bond, and on and on

I hate this year so much already, I didn't need this to hate it even more. Im exaggerating using the work "hate" but this seriously blows.

He was one of my absolute favorite actors.

So many good movies.

(... a few not so good, too.)

I loved Zardoz but it was an awful movie! :laughing

What a great life he had. :thumbup

Thomas Sean Connery, named Thomas after his grandfather, was born in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland on 25 August 1930.

His mother, Euphemia "Effie" McBain McLean, was a cleaning woman.

Connery's father, Joseph Connery, was a factory worker and lorry driver.

Rolls with it...
Other than Charlotte Rampling's gratuitous nudity when she was smokin' hot, not one of John (father of Charley) Boorman's best.... :laughing

I may have to watch it again, though, it's been years since I've seen it.

Oh my. Sean Connery was my favorite actor for so many many years. From his first Bond flicks ( I saw almost all of his movies) to his later experiments. I loved his cameo in Time Bandits.

He was a total class act, in every way. Not many people I can say that about.
