I also rode it sunday. Definitely followed a couple of people up who looked completely bewildered once they got up to the blocked off section. The big mobile traffic sign they had at the bottom was just a big arrow pointing to the right the two times I road past it while doing some loops.

According to the Live Map on Waze, it is still closed.
I have not been up there to verify.

I rode it yesterday (and today) and it is closed at the old gun range. Canyon is closed just off of Pinehurst. Pinehurst is dirty, what's new, but is open from Skyline to Redwood.

There really ought to be one thread with the status of all closed roads in the first post, updated by some kind soul who is willing to keep track of it all. Posts within the thread could provide updates to be made to the first post.
It should not be a stickie by itself, but should be pointed to by the stickie that lists the important threads.
Two items to go in there:
Palomares is closed at the south end until June 30, 2017.
Calaveras is closed until the end of 2017.

I ripped ass up and back redwood road last weekend with a pillion, from palomares. It was quiet, clean, and choice.

You can ride passed the first blockade (coming from CV) - and the second block you can ride to the right, or go through the forest into the parking area.

That doesn't help me much when I run up Mines Road, up to Mt. Hamilton, then down toward San Jose and try to find a decent route back to Pleasanton. Normally I would take Sierra, Felter, then Calaveras. As it is now, I still have to take I-680 around, which is especially annoying on any weekday afternoon.

Well that certainly makes a difference. From CV it's about 3 miles to the closed section. Not much fun in that...:thumbdown

Speaking of redwood area. Moraga Rd is closed at the Canyon Bridge as you exit moraga or enter from canyon.
