other than BARF and the what 2 post on other sites there is no one talking about this. There are no signs anywhere. No TV spots Nothing. Word of mouth can only get so many people in the first year. I have seen way more publicity for years past than I have for this event.

1) Print up posters and get them out to shops afm staff/riders
2) Get Sonoma Race way to post it on their sign board on Hwy37
3) tv ad?

We are just over 2 weeks out and everyone I talk to about it has no idea it is even happening

Usually it is too far to ride for the BA folks. They will have to watch on TV..
We should have a group riding down from Humboldt and I bet If you sent posters to to Washington or Canada (I always saw plenty of those folks year after year for the AMA races) I am sure there would be groups coming down. Just a short jaunt for those riders.

The original poster of this thread is from Crescent City, and comes to all of the AFM Races. Might want to ask him if he needs a pit crew.

Hope to come meet him at this round (probably Sat.) . This is part of our spring fling ride so will be hitting some of our fave Sonoma roads instead of the normal whole weekend at the track.
I was just taking a polk at all the excuses used by folks that have racing right in their back yard but feel a 1hr ride is too much of a commitment .
I see AFM racers from up and down the west coast making the commitment and providing great racing and just can't understand why more of the local folks don't turn out to enjoy it.
