Are we advertising this round at all? Other than this forum I have seen ZERO advertisements or announcements about this round.

How are we planning on getting the spectators attention?

Sonoma has sent out to their list, Cycle Gear will to theirs. Various Vendors will be using their lists. AFM will use it's list.

Any other suggestions?

Sending a poster to all and every shop in the area? Radio adds, " Sunday, Sunday, Sunday" adds! TV adds during other motorcycle shows? Bus billboard's with girls in dental floss?

Sorry about the last one.

I make words too.
Mine was more of a front/rear flyer design.

It was for our event and does not mention the Sumo stuff.

Obviously the back is not done, I was waiting for a bit more information.

If I can get the power supply swapped out on my machine this evening I will work on a poster design.

Thanks! I made an actual poster design that I am waiting for approval from the event organizers before I can unleash it on the public.

Hold please...

Flyers at the shops (especially in San Francisco) as mentioned by others.

Flyers at Alice's or maybe a road trip up there the next couple of weekends to talk to people and let them know. Nothing beats pressing the flesh.

Lots of sport bike, race bike enthusiasts hang out there and we can spread the word through that crowd.

Find some of the other great hang outs on the back roads; Buster's in Calistoga, etc.

other than BARF and the what 2 post on other sites there is no one talking about this. There are no signs anywhere. No TV spots Nothing. Word of mouth can only get so many people in the first year. I have seen way more publicity for years past than I have for this event.

1) Print up posters and get them out to shops afm staff/riders
2) Get Sonoma Race way to post it on their sign board on Hwy37
3) tv ad?

We are just over 2 weeks out and everyone I talk to about it has no idea it is even happening

likely too late for a tv ad

has anyone called the local news stations to inform them of the event? it's easy pr for the event and an easy story for them

Is Chris Ulrich offering the 2 up riders to reporters? If not, I seem to remember a Z2 instructor doing something similar.

I have heard that there will be 2 up rides at the 3j's event with Chris Ulrich.
