Our new bike

Yes, it is a cruiser platform.....but.... I have heard these things can be a little bit difficult to keep up with in the hands of well trained riders.:ride!

That's true of every bike. The problem is that well-trained riders also find the bike's limits very quickly, and then the bike holds them back. IMO, the bike should not be the limiting factor.

It just looks so out of place with CHP livery. I'm not a cruiser fan to begin with and don't like Harley styling, but given a choice between sitting in car or riding, I'd rather ride, but I'd prefer the Honda or BMW.

Groveland, where's that?
Well, good news is that the motors can now work graves. One officer on the bike, the other pulling it behind the patrol vehicle.

Nevada Highway Patrol is also going to HD in the northern division. Apparently already using them in the southern (Las Vegas) division. According to my son-in-law the new HD's are "supposed" to have some kind of new ECM mapping that gives them better speed and performance.... I will be interested to hear the reports.... NHP will not get their HD's until next year sometime.

Ours has the same, along with cams and intake. I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference from stock but allegedly it will cruise at 110

Saw one of these in Rocklin few weeks ago ..You'd get owned by my R1 .. Looks like a tank LoL

You, not you specifically, can out run pretty much any bike... you cant outrun the helo or airplane or the radio or slamming into the back of a semi and then going to the morgue.

talked to the guy that did maintenance on SF's harleys and he hated them, said they suffered form overheating a lot, of course that's a lot off hills at low speed.
Hopefully the CHiPee HDs will be cooler running on wide open roads.
good luck to those that ride them.

The original reasoning that allowed for lanesplitting in this state...
