As I said, I was being nick picky. I know that the CHP Motor School will pick at you for stuff like that. Heck, you could wash-out if you don't turn your head precisely at the time they want you to.
Ultimately,I don't really give a ratts ass:twofinger

CHP Motor School. Don't get me started....LoL

Two wheels please
"Real World" v "Training"..... Not that shit again......:facepalm. I don't care if it is motorcycle training, range, defensive tactics, Kung fu or building space ships.....I have heard that enough to get tendinitis of the ears. Experts are separated from novices by a mastery of the basics.......whatever the skill set

Eddie, I need a beer:staRang

Some food for thought on this issue. Looks to me like you had a professional in that pic that was making sure he was putting down his "clean" foot based on his position within the lane.

Next time you see two motor guys riding together you will more often than not see the right side bike (#2 track of the lane) with their right foot down at a stop. Left bike, left foot. The idea is that the middle of the lane is where the cagers leave all of their "joy juice" on the ground making it slippery/dirty. This theory can be observed in the wild especially if the person who does not adhere to the above guideline/rule is being followed by a senior motor. At that point you may hear profanity laced words of encouragement for the offender to get with the program.

On inclines same thing applies if you are parallel with the angle of the incline/decline. God gave motorcyclist a foot brake and hand brake for this and many other reasons:ride If the riders were perpendicular to the angle of the incline, the foot on the "high side" would go down regardless. If not, the bike may very well go to sleep falling towards the downhill side landing directly on top of the rider as if the rider were a down comforter......Incline work is the bomb. It quickly separates out the mini bike riders from the big bike riders.

As far as good looking C14's......Roseville's are the standard in that regard!! They got them dialed.

You, not you specifically, can out run pretty much any bike... you cant outrun the helo or airplane or the radio or slamming into the back of a semi and then going to the morgue.

That does seem to be a common outcome of
fast motorcycle
failure to stop
failure to negotiate that last thing before crashing

Personally I love it. I liked my BMW at work but I really liked my Harley too. Not sure they're great for CHP work but they look fuckin' cool, sound good, and I bet they'll do just fine for ya'll.

I know, it's cool to hate Harley's on BARF and all; But I like 'em.

the chp should buck the trend and buy only Indians.

show them harpy boys who the real chief is 😄
