Ms BA had her first shot last Thursday. Slightly sore arm that night.

Didn't grow gills. I am disappoint.

However, just to make trouble, Bill Maher had some doctor experts on who preferred AstraZeneca and stoked a certain amount of fear because other two use completley new technology in delivery. Something about Astra Zeneca still using a known biological carrier or something. So then we had to feel concerned. But, still no gills or death so....

I'm supposed to get shot on Feb. 24. I have my doubts. Either nobody will have any by then or will be rollin in it. If I get another chance to sign-up elsewhere, I'm taking it, too because I just don't think we can trust this rollout to deliver on every promise.

When my time comes I am going for Maderna/Pfitzer. It has much higher efficacy. Bonus points might get a better 5g reception.
There is also talk that they work better with variants, but I don't think data is quite there yet.

Does she look good in gills?

As long as it didn't impact my ability to breath above ground, or have to suddenly keep myself very moist 24x7, if I had gills I'd probably swim more.

I was able to sign my dad up for a vaccination this Sunday at UCSF. But considering I have internet access, somewhat savvy with technology, and my co worker telling me about where to go, I got lucky.

There are lots of people who dont any of this, and some may not even speak English and I can see how many people are falling through the cracks. Frankly, for them to get to all this age bracket is a really daunting task.

Pfitzer shot 1 - When the purple and green polka dotted Gorilla showed up, told it I didn't notice any side effects.

It was a harrowing experience that will be remembered for years. Your experience may vary, Goodluck

I lucked out during a mini surplus and got an appointment after waiting five hours on hold.

Got my first shot from Kaiser a couple days ago. The only part I didn't like was being in the building with 30 other people. No after effects, but I took a nap anyway, just to make sure.

Got my second moderna dose. Was scared hearing the stories. But went smoothly. Had leg aches but it was leg day, so hard to tell if it was vaccine or exercise.

Whatever that means
Forgot to post here but I got my second dose back in late January. I felt sore and stiff the next day. Kind of like the day after going on a long day of dirt riding but without the fun of having ridden in the dirt involved.

Wasn't there some other thread on this same subject?

I received the Pfizer vaccine yesterday and am signed up for the second dose exactly three weeks later. I was prepared for some serious arm pain, but it has been no worse than any other injection that I've received in the past few years. Not expecting the second one to be quite as pleasant.

I just had my second yesterday. I had it in the arm with the torn off rotator cuff, so I don't notice any more pain than usual. :laughing

For those of u going to the coliseum for a vaccine, 880 north was backed up to 238, full stop for the 66th ave exit.
Take high st, and make that sharp right onto coliseum way. Much shorter wait, only 1 car ahead of me.
Phizer, no reaction.

Edit: I have muscle soreness about 12 hrs after the injection. He put it in my deltoid, and I have soreness approximately in a 1 inch diameter from the injection site. No redness.

Question: do you have to show up in a car or can one arrive on foot or bicycle/motorcycle?

I used the myturn.ca.gov, website. It has 2 different designations but it is a huge cluster fuck at the 66th exit, and it was all the same when u get there. Everyone was in a car today due to the weather. Moto would totally work but there is a lot of waiting.
I saw no one on foot.

Think what it is like if u go to a big concert, it is that level of fun.

They check ur name at the entrance, then it is autox for 2 miles of cone land, then u arrive at the tent where u get ur vaccine.
It's maybe 5 rows and 5 cars deep for each row.

Then depending on your medical history you either wait 15 min or 30.
I have lethal allergies, and for this first shot, I had zero reaction. Not even red at the injection site.

Got both shots. Both shots gave me a sore arm but second shot also gave me a petty fever of 99.3 for like 2 hrs then went away. Gonna get antibody test In few weeks to see if my body made antibodies
