It's interesting to see how fast people fall in line with the doctorine that which is spewed from the bowels of the government...
What's interesting is how goddamn hard some of the
conspicuously rugged individualists are working to maintain "real rider" branding in the face of so much objective fact.
Sorry, I said "interesting" when I meant incredibly selfish and unbelievably stupid.
Look, I get that some riders are apparently so
fuckin' hardcore that being indoors for even a couple days strains your fragile snowflake constitutions. And obviously, you can't be seen here on BARF as kowtowing to The Man.
Is it really that hard to think this through?
1. The "but bicycles..." argument is short-sighted bullshit. Can you guys leaning on that not see the difference between riding a bike around the neighborhood to get some air and railing Mines?
Furthermore, unnecessary travel on bicycles is out too. Recreational riding of Redwood, say, on a bicycle or motorbike right now are both dumb and selfish, you dig?
2. I know all you hardcore motherfuckers think you're so talented and skilled, but this forum is full of "it wasn't my fault" crashes, and though y'all love to whine about "cagers" fucking us, the reality is that a big chunk of moto crashes involved no one but the rider.
There's someone in this very thread promoting the idea that riding is ok right now, despite having been taking out by a deer a few months back. I myself was taken out by a driver in what turned out to be a life-changing accident in 2018. The only "choice" in either of those cases was the choice to ride.
In normal circumstances, you want to risk your own ass, cool. Now, the cost of that risk isn't just you.
It's not that hard to figure out. Or it shouldn't be.
