got 2 or 3 wheelies that i was satisfied with today. new tires somehow made a big difference IMO.

Sunday I'm going riding on mount hamilton with some other guys. Let me know if you wanna join and work on real riding skills. Suspension can also have big impact on wheelies. Gotten yours setup yet?
not yet im out of town for the next 3 weeks
To begin with, I am in no way, shape, or form an amazing rider, let alone stunt rider, which is why im reaching out to those of you who are.
Now, I see a TON of videos of people on stock R6 gearing popping their bikes up at 7-8k rpm in first gear and getting the bike clutched up in 2nd. i cannot get the bike up in second gear for some reason and it feels really sluggish? i can hop it up in first at about 10k rpm or so doing a power wheelie. how do people pop it up at 25-30 with stock gearing and my bike feels like a fatass when i try? and i weigh roughly 165-170 lbs.
thanks :thumbup
arent you the kid that wouldnt listen to anybody on barf and bought the r6 when everybody told you not to?
id practice learning how to ride before you start to stunt
plastics are expensive
thanks for all the advice guys, taking a break from all this! just normal riding for me now that im away from the R6 for a few weeks and only have a sportster to ride.

Where's the R6 going?
Not when parents are paying. :laughing
R6 isnt going anywhere haha, i am. going to Miami for a couple weeks.
parents refused to pay after 2nd ticket.
Hope our ride together was worth that ticket
You're telling my you are paying for the bike, insurance, gas, gear, registration, track days, etc... etc...? And I thought I had a great job when I was your age...
you need to borrow a clapped out dirt bike and figure it all out on that. practicing covering the rear brake and using it during a wheelie is pretty critical to not ending up on your noggin.
i ride moto a lot, and i can pull a solid wheelie in 3rd without clutch on a 250r easily. the problem is pulling my heavier R6 up. i think im just scared of the power this bloody machine has.
