KTM made changes to their chassis for 2020, I heard on the broadcast.

Here are the 2019 Manufacturer Standings:

KTM made changes to their Moto3 chassis. There is no KTM chassis in Moto2 for 2020.

Roberts had the second tier KTM chassis last year and did not get several new chassis during the season like Binder did. Iker Lecuona did a lot better than Roberts on that chassis but it still wasn't anywhere near as good as the Kalex or Speed Up.

So KTM threw their Moto2 chassis in the dumpster. That was the change..... :laughing

Simply put ...yes.
Plus another year ....
Plus Hopper..............
Plus a solid crew chief....!!

So nice to see.

Shit does not happen with pixie dust.
Joe has hung in there ... working it. :thumbup

I am sure his family has a lot to do with it.
Hard work... dedication....a little luck... and a little pixie dust = win.

Now... will we see a win??.... :dunno

I will be routing hard for one. :thumbup :flag

Go Joe.

Not as fast as I look.
KTM using a Kalex chassis is like Ferrari using a McLaren box in F1. Too weird. I don't think it helps their marketing.

Roberts started losing the rear tire, particularly on lap 17. Since this track wears tires differently than other places, I wouldn't be surprised to see him at the sharp end all the way till the finish elsewhere. The racing was good in both series.

I hope they delay everything until the virus madness settles down. A late or no season is better than some half-arsed mix bag of shouldn't have done it races.

Thinking back, it’s pretty incredible that Nagashima was able to charge forward the entire race and have enough tire to gap the field on the last two laps, while everyone else was struggling for grip.

He did a great job. He had that pace all along. He showed it early, but held back and managed the tires. Lap eight was his fastest lap.

There's a reason for that.

The outer 2/3 is a vacuum, but the inner 1/3 can fit 2-3 bikes wide if brave enough. Everyone always hugs the curb, so an outside pass is usually available and it gives you the inside for T4 and the climb to 5A.

It is best to be to the far right for four and the line into five. However, I have seen two guys consistently use the outside there in traffic. Doug Chandler and Michael Earnest. Maybe Cory Call, too. But, I think he just wheelies through that whole section until seven. :ride

Most of the fast guys I see make T3 a modified V, coming in close to the inner apex at both ends of the V. Hugging the curb is slow. I like outside passes there, but you have to be really careful, the out half of the curve is both strong negative camber and full of dust and gum balls.

Disagree. Cory will use that if he knows he has space behind him. Otherwise it's an invitation to get stuffed coming into four. In a tight race, everyone enters T4 mid track or close. If you leave four feet there, you get stuffed.
