Whatever that means
Viñales makes the bike look bad on race day. You come out with fast pace for quali and fp only to plummet on race day.

Mir is looking good, great pass on Rossi. Doing what Rins couldn't. The Suzuki teams need to figure out how to qualify better.

Hopefully KTM figures something out for next week.

Maybe Rossi can get on the steps next week.

yeap...
What is discouraging about this season, is that there is no clear front runner... yes it’s exciting to watch the race because you never know what’s going to happen, but when MM is healed up, he’ll start clearing house again.

Fabio/Mav/Brad/Jack/Rins/Franky really need to step up their games to be week in week out challenging for the podium...

Dovi has basically phoned it in this year and he’s leading the championship...

What you find discouraging I find tantalizing. What a great season!!
I would agree MM's return is going to shake stuff up and will affect "who will be champ"

We are seeing the type of track favor a certain manufacturer. I don't know if it is the riders that have to step up or the manufacturers?

Dovi's year..? man....this shit is crazy :loco

Next generation podium. Two 23 year-olds and a 25 year-old. All younger than today's Moto3 winner, McPhee (26). No doubt Marc Marquez is still the Sheriff but this is a very mental game and we have a bunch of young racers stepping up their results and confidence. Bagnaia, Oliveira, Binder, Morbidelli, Rins and Mir haven't spent the last six years getting beat by MM93. And while fans saw Quartararo as a sensation last season, these guys see themselves as just as good or better than Quartararo. That makes seven racers who are going into races knowing they can win. When Marc Marquez returns, he may pick up where he left off or he might have his hands full.

Thrilled for Morbidelli, Bagnaia and Mir. Good racing all day: MotoE was bonkers; Moto3 delivered the usual high wire act, Moto2 made us wait for a good showdown.

There sure seems to be a vast difference between the qualifying set up and the race set up for some of the Yamaha riders. Besides low fuel level, it would be interesting to see what else changes between qualifying and race set ups. Engine mapping? Geometry? Suspension settings? We'll never know but its fun to speculate.

I love this season.

edit. And the ZOOG winner had ten podiums. Dovi's would have to superZOOG to claim the championship with a bunch of finishes off the podium.

tough day for fans of Mr Arenas and KTM ...

Map 8: The MotoE race wasn't bad but pales compared to the nuttyness of last year. With the no grip track and toque of the motors it was spin city.
Also yes, loving this season!

I wonder what map 3 was for rins. He seemed to drop after that, was hit hitting low fuel?

I enjoyed this race, and suspect we'll be seeing more of the same. It wasn't riveting, though. I did enjoy seeing Rossi ride so well and really was rooting for him.

McPhee was amazing.

old and slow
D. Binder far and away steals the show until he crashes. It's pure entertainment. I think he'd do better on a bigger bike.

go both Binders next Sunday! :ride:party

loved watching Mr Brad Binder win Moto3 in 2016 and win the home Moto2 race last season for KTM ... Mr Darryn Binder is super-fun to watch this season.

idk ... Moto3 continues to blow my mind season after season. :angel
