cross-post Re: both MA & world SSP -

I’m reading Jalopnik’s fun story about Tyler O’Hara Injun bagger mount for Laguna Seca @ end, 1 of their selected read-this-next articles is Ana Carrasco fracturing her spine in 2 places while testing

my iPad skills don’t include how to post those up, no PC or Mac handy, so get over to Jalopnik......

Iannone keeps posting on his Instagram a bunch of pictures of him riding with the hashtag #iannonebackontrack
Did I miss something? Is he racing this weekend or is it just wishful thinking?

AI29 might just be trying to viral-market himself back into GP.

"If there's enough fan pressure on Dorna, (or whoever) they just might take me back" is probably what he's thinking.

Who knows? :dunno

Don't worry, Mav will botch the start, and Franco will get passed within a few laps. Fabio will most likely check out...Rossi and Fabio on the podium.. either KTM or a Suzuki with them.

Vale has never been a great qualifier, he's always been a guy comfortable with early race pace.

Agreed. I think he did well today.
All four Yamaha's at the top.. bamn. What a difference the track makes...:laughing

I think we will see two Yamaha's on the podium. Perhaps 3.
Mir looks good on race pace as well.

Those Duc's look awesome...

on the straights. :p

Rossi's eyes on the cool down tell the whole story, he is totally deflated. Bummer. No surprise that Mav continues to disappoint - how long will Yamaha put up with this? Give the seat to Franky.

So close to an all Italian podium and it would have been an all VR46 podium.
Credit to Joan Mir because he had the speed and the pass that Alex Rins couldn't or wouldn't make.

yeap...
Less bummed about the 200 podiums and more bummed about the lack of a complete VR46 academy podium. Maybe next week

Factory Yamaha really gotta wonder about Maverick. Dude is the King of FP and QP, yet he has major difficulty putting it together on Sundays.
Even Franco can put a decent Sunday together on the B-Spec machine. 2021 Yamaha should just field 4 full A-Spec machines.
