I laugh at Crashlow. He used to down talk Taka saying things like he didn't deserve an updated Honda.
Looks like Taka just needed a level playing field on gear to start showing him up.

I thought Crapslow had a 2020 bike.
I actually enjoy Cal so I should not do that to him

Taka is on a ‘19.

Yes, correct.

Crashlow is 20 and Taka on 19. This was a few months ago where there was talk about Taka getting a 20 and Crashlow spoke mad shit about Taka getting new gear.
Taka showing him up on a 19 is poetic justice.

Crutchlow had a World Supersport Championship, BSB and WSBK wins, had been a MotoGP factory rider for Ducati and had MotoGP podiums, poles and a MotoGP win before he ever got a current year factory Honda. He racked up some good results on year-old equipment for LCR to earn the factory-level bike. Nakagami just earned his first pole, has no MotoGP podiums or wins and has been asking for a better bike. I'd have to agree with Cal that Nakagami needed to produce the results before getting the bike upgrade.

One could argue that Taka would have progressed if HRC was more fair. This has actually been a benefit of not having WinOrBin this season.
Taka is up front along with NepotismMarquez now that HRC can focus on them both.
Makes you wonder how much progress Jackass and Morbido would have made if HRC supported them better in their rookie seasons.

Great race for Franco, bummer for Taka, and the Suzuki boys show they are as fast as anyone.

I am now officially rooting for Morbidelli to take the championship.

For the top 5:
- Mir is a great rider having the most consistent season, but it's going to be unsatisfying to have a non-winning champion.
- Fabio is the fastest racer in the field...as long as everything is Just So, but otherwise doesn't show much grit
- Viñales, no commentary needed here, will flake out before he wins
- Morbidelli, strong, aggressive rider, would be in 1st place in the standings if he'd held on to either of his 2 crashes when he was in 1st & 3rd. Last 3 races should suit his bike and his riding style.
- Rins can win any weekend but is always a little erratic & might be too far back to have a real chance. Would probably be in 1st if he hadn't been injured early in the season
- Dovi won't quite exit the stage but can't quite get it together. I'm crossing him off.

So sad for Taka. What a bummer.

Franco rocked the day. Another double Daduki podium is impressive. :thumbup

Joe with a top 10 in Moto2 is not to bad.

Sam Lowes.. killing it.

Too much thinking made that a boring race. Taka cracked badly under the pressure of the limelight. Fabio cannot get the championship out of his mind enough to ride like he is capable. Same for Mir but not as bad. Sure, Glad for Franky but not great entertainment - except for Zarco mixing it up.
