Lin Jarvis said no replacement at Aragon 2 because Rossi was withdrawn within the 10 day window.

Apparently JLo has been sticking around after meals for an extra dessert ever since he retired and he's not in riding shape for a MotoGP race.

That, plus with the Yamaha engine troubles this year I don't think they want extra usage to be put on Rossi's remaining engine allotment.

It's a pity, I would have enjoyed seeing JLo racing and giving us at least one or two of his shit-stirring quotes that I love so much.

In the quick garage shot just after the race, Q was making arm motions that the front end was uncooperative. Bouncing his hands around like going over ruts off-road. Lots of chatter, maybe?

Definitely something physical with the bike combined with his own injury.

Why would they care about Rossi’s engine allotment? He’s 14th in Championshio standings, 5 points ahead of Zarco and 63 points off of Mir. He ain’t winning anything this year and the data gained could be useful.

Yeah but he is within striking distance, has more experience than the front runners, goes well at the remaining tracks, the Yamahas seem to be working well, and Mav of late seems to be in “good” form (relatively speaking) with solid confidence.

Yeah it's a good question & I was super-hoping that JLo would race this weekend. JLo is a world-class shit-stirrer and he would've had at least one crazy quote or an incident with someone over the course of the weekend, and I'm here for all the drama.

But, JLo was very slow on a 2019 Yamaha at testing a couple of weeks ago and I think that the Yamaha brass is looking at it that, there's no way Pudgy JLo is going to finish in the points if he races, so let's not bother putting him or anyone else out there, especially with these dodgy engines we are desperate to keep running though the end of the season.

Dorna are putting their money where their mouth is shovelling Euros into amping race graphics twofinger whiners), footing for glitz and glam promotions, and making every effort to infect the Philistines across the pond with the racer rock star fever prevalent on The Continent. I look at the current main page topper and think of how hard it is to get professionals to smile. This has never been part of their job description. It may be callous supply side economics, but when the fan base increases the racing improves if only by virtue of greater financial stability. Wax that product. Jorge Martin, a'right.
