Indian Motorcycle Invents the Dyna LOL

The Chief models are good looking bikes, except the gap (hole) formed in the frame tubes in front of the tank looks off.

To me, any bike with controls in front of your butt is a forward control.

By that definition all scooters would have forward control, but by anyone else's definition most scooters have what's called mid-control.

Really?
I love them.

I wouldn't mind a demo ride.

New Chiefs looks great. The front end, especially the Bobbers and Super Chiefs, are awesome. The Chiefs, with its chopper looks, are okay. It's not to my tastes.

I went to their website and have two custom build, I picked Chief Bobber Dark Horse and add a few bits. Rather have 120ft.lbs of torque on it. ;-)

Not meaning to be sarcastic but aren't they all basically the same bike with some minor variations in colors and controls.

Some of them have a rear tire on the front wheel and 2 have leather bags.

The red one looks the fastest and they all look better engineered than HDs.

My heart beats stupid fast for a sexy-bomb-g-string-PANIGALE. I would loooorve a Panigale V4-rated-R (not for squid-kids) to burn the twisty backroads up on Highway One. Just stop it, I am drooling hard.

Then there are time when my own stupid hooooo-man body telling me “would you please stop!?!? Ride something comfeeerterble please, jeebus!!!” Duly noted, I don’t mind nice torque-y cruiser that’ll help me ramble along the nice road to a fancy-pants espresso stop then ride out more and ooogle the beautiful sequoias and sniff the pine air while farting on a comfy saddlemen seat toward nowhere.

So Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse it is then. Innit!

In my book, the front pegs should be positioned so that if you try to stand up from your riding position (sitting on the seat with your hands on the bar), your butt neither goes backwards (forward controls) nor forward (rearward controls), but instead goes straight up. That, to me is the optimum position for any riding.

I did and I am very impressed with that motor. Polaris/Indian really did their homework. Ridiculous amount of low end torque, seamless power band the bikes actually handle well, given they're a cruiser...

Where and when did you get a test ride?
