Favorite diner

Well shit, this sets up an entirely new category.
Great destination worth it despite shitty food.
Turtle Rock comes immediately to mind.
For the Peninsula, I would put Alpine Inn into that category. Down here on the Central Coast, I would say Rocky Point or maybe Nepenthe.

It's not my fault...
Oh man, forgot all about the Putah Creek Cafe, Rancher's Breakfast is ace.

Putah Creek Cafe is good. Copper Skillet in Martinez was always good for breakfast when I lived there back in the day

Little Nugget Diner in Reno is my favorite spot to be served good food by ex-cons, while sitting next to future ones.

I always liked Art's Cafe on Irving street, and Hamburger Haven on Clement street, mostly because of the ambience.

Bab's Delta Diner in Suisun City is tasty. I miss the A-1 diner in Seymour, Missouri. Went there every Saturday with grandpa doing feed runs for the farm when I was young. Food was decent, the company priceless.

Thanks for this.
I'm gonna try to hit this tomorrow.
Kinda too close to call it a ride destination but I'm always looking for good new places.
The place looks pretty cool. :thumbup

Don't have a place, but have been wanting to visit Jax At The Tracks in Truckee. Maybe AI can comment, but it looks like a neat spot.
.

Haha. Jax is where we take large groups of visitors for a cheap mediocre breakfast when we are too lazy to cook.
When the food matters, we have breakfast at Martys Cafe.
I have had lunch and dinner at Jax on occasion, I survived.

Come to Jax and I'll stop by and say hi if I can.

I'll vouch for copper skillet in Martinez. . It gets super busy though, so expect to wait for a table.
