I saw riders & passengers in Houston (not during Harvey) on the highway wearing bathing suits & bikinis. :facepalm

Crashing would be deadly. ATGATT FTMFW.

ATGATT is mostly a Bay Area thing, where weather make it possible and shaming make it mandatory. Go 100 miles outside the Bay Area and it's another paradigm. No need to go to Texas to find people with different views.

Ain't that the truth.......here in Tucson Iv'e seen it all from a rider wearing full cowboy attire, hat, jeans stuffed into boots and all, to a guy wearing board shorts, flip flops, tank top and baseball cap turned backwards....LOL

Oh and both guys were riding Harleys with ape hangers.....go figure.

It's a free country, folks can do what they want unless it's illegal.

I'll keep avoidable damage to a minimum.

I just got back from a trip to Yellowstone and surroundings and pretty much every non-Harley rider (about 1/3 to 1/2 of the bikes in the park) were wearing some version of ATGATT. Outside the park the ratio of non-Harley bikes fell by a lot. I will also reiterate the "whole lotta fat" comment for most of the Harley riders.

For the Harley riders the most interesting thing was that the wife/girlfriend on the back never had lesser helmet coverage than the guy in front. So, if the rider was wearing a Harley Yarmulke the lady in back had at least that much helmet or more.
