Absolutely why Amazon offers their own brands. Only Amazon get's an easy way to find out what people want to buy so they can sell "equivalents"
I was looking at some of the Amazon brand items today, wondering how many of those positive reviews are fake.

try fakespot.com for amazon purchases. I'm happy buying amazon brand stuff, especially if it's just general shit for the house like ibuprofen and whatever else

Was not expecting to see the market back at 24000 this soon.
Never underestimate the power of manipulation.

I refuse to believe this is how stable we will be. I am worried this is a bounce from March 16.

People will not be going back to work anytime soon. Otherwise the RONA starts all over and we're back to quarantine. It's all a big math game and not enough people have gotten COVID for us to go back to resume normal activities.

For that to happen we need (2) things:
1) Test kits that indicate antibodies
2) Vaccine

And without #2, we're still mostly limited. #1 will let those people go back to work and "live" normally, since they present no risk - until this thing mutates and COVID-19A springs up.

In the end, I think we have to just get back after it and people are going to die.

But you're short sighted if you think this is all "built in" and markets have adjusted.

Wait until travel doesn't resume (impact to airlines, airports, suppliers, industry, blah blah)
Wait until restaurants close (impact to landlords, which trickles to banks, etc)
Wait for people to hold on to their money (corporate and personal)

Wait for the REAL outcome of this.

The shit storm is just starting to brew..

I agree. And honestly I wasn't finished buying and hope we get another chance at the lows.

Play it out. When will you be going to Dave and busters, a pro sports event, a concert, or on a plane and in a hotel for a vacation?

Probably not for 6 months.

Show me a company who can go barebones revenue and operating costs for that long... few to none.

On the other hand many companies are not in that situation. For example booze will always sell, and the telecom sector is making money.

From the other Covid19 thread, Dr Slow has been discussing that both 1 and 2 are problematic.

1. Hard to mass produce and be accurate
2. Corona viruses are hard to make vaccines for and that is why there is no SARS vaccine.
